**Fully booked - waitlist available** This a small group professional development opportunity, limited to 15 people, aimed at workers with little or no previous knowledge of polyvagal theory.
The workshop will take place on Thursday 23 and 30 November, from 12pm to 2.30pm on both days.

• Invitation to gain an introduction to PVT theory and explore its application and value in a clinical and advocacy setting.
• Appreciate the physiology and somatic foundations of mental health.
• Choose to engage in mapping your Autonomic Nervous System using Deb Dana's PVT framework.
• Explore the practitioner's role in Polyvagal therapeutic approach.
• Specific skill development includes: Using Deb Dana's Polyvagal Map 1; Engaging in Name and Notice Practice; Identifying the difference between implicit and explicit use of Polyvagal Informed practice.

Dr Theresa Noakes
Dr Teresa Noakes is a PhD and Psychology/Health Science qualified professional with therapeutic, evidence based and community psychology experience. Dr Noakes is committed to empowering individuals to achieve their aspirations, to live a happy and meaningful life. Dr Noakes’ career has focused on empowerment, the celebration of diversity and unlocking potential in her various university research, community development and psychotherapeutic posts. Currently Dr Noakes is working with Deb Dana and her training team, as the first Australian Polyvagal Consultant.
