Feedback due this week: DFFH Family Violence Response Capability Framework
The DFFH Family Violence Response Capability Framework, originally developed in 2017, is being refreshed to align with the MARAM framework and other reforms. A PDF copy of the draft framework was sent by email early this month. If you have not received the document, please email SASVic's Sector Development Advisor alice.hon@sasvic.org.au.
DFFH is seeking your feedback, focusing on the following questions:
- Does the general structure of the revised framework make sense?
- Are the capabilities pitched at the right practice level (noting MARAM Requirements and that it is a framework for best practice)?
- Are the capabilities relevant to sexual assault and harmful sexual behaviours services?
- Are the capabilities clear? Are their opportunities to condense or combine capabilities?
New capabilities have been added related to sexual assault and harmful sexual behaviours, so using the search 'sexual' may enable you to track relevant changes more easily.
How to provide feedback
You can either use the "Comment" function in Adobe PDF or email general comments. SASVic will then gather all your feedback and share it with CWE.
Please email your feedback to alice.hon@sasvic.org.au. The review period is scheduled to end this week on 22 December 2023.
We encourage you to share the document with colleagues and other relevant stakeholders.
